This fabulous set makes a great gift for a cook just realizing the benefits of silicone. A flexible, heat-resistant, colorfully-tinted material, silicone makes the perfect spatula head-it bends smoothly to scoop batter out of bowls, it can scramble eggs in a nonstick frying pan, and it can baste hot roasts. Best of all, silicone utensils go right into the dishwasher for easy cleanup. This set from Pinzon includes seven utensils: a large spatula, two medium spatulas, two small scrapers, a large spoon-shaped spatula, and a basting brush. The heads are silicone, while the long, smooth handles are hollow stainless steel with hanging holes on the ends. LIKE THIS PURCHASE ALOT...I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE STAINLESS STEEL HOLDER, ALMOST WORTH THE COST OF ENTIRE SET; NICE SIZE GOOD WEIGHT AND NOT TO MENTION GOOD LOOOKING...STAINLESS STEEL HANDLES ON ALL SPATULAS VERY NICE...

After purchasing some nice non-stick cooking pans, I needed to get some utensils. I suppose the bright color is what initially attracted me to them. These are terrific. The handles have some heft to them. I noticed right away that these seemed a lot heartier than any previous spatulas. There is a wide variety of them and I find that I use them all the time when cooking. So far no stains. I wish I would have bought the spoons and ladles. I had some but they don't match. The canister has room to hold all of the utensils.
I am very happy with this purchase.

Great set and a steal when i picked them up at a fri. sale for $20. I have a similar set that I purchased from BB&B for $25 and the quality difference between the 2 is not even close. Highly recommended.

Ordered this about 2 weeks ago, arrived a few days later. The spatulas are great! The silicone part detaches from the metal handle for cleaning, and the stainless steel holder is heavy and solid. I paid only $15 for this, I see it is now on sale for $40 and wish I had purchased several more for gifts. Similar spatulas are priced at Sur la Table for about $7-8 apiece and seem to be of equivalent quality. AT $40 the set is reasonably priced.
